Renew your spark.

*** RENEW THE "SPARK"!πŸ˜‚ ***

Don’t fall in love with the moment and think you’re falling in love with the person.

I don't know how many of us have been in that kind of condition where you just don't have "somone" you can call your own. Awwwwwh! Is not that you don't have friends, but there is no one you can really narrow your heart down to. There is just no one you can share your feelings with. It looks as if there is no colour in the world for you. You feel the hands of loneliness holding you down. Your heart yearns for just "anyone." Have you been there?

Ok! Let me ask you something else. Can you remember anytime in your relationship the whole love thing seemed so dry and boring. Let me say you love the guy so much and you are sure he really really loves you too, but you can't still understand that "dead wood" you are feeling inside. He calls you every minute of the day but you are not still excited. He takes you out, but at the moment you come back home that veil of depression comes over you. You love all the beautiful things your friends share with you about their relationship and you notice that you have them all, yet you are not satisfied. You really want something greener. Have you been there?

Hello Dear, I just want to tell you that everyone goes through that season, even me (your relationship coach)πŸ˜‚. Lol! There are just times when I know I need to talk to him, but I can't just find any word in my heart. There are times when I pick up my phone to call him, but I can't just explain why I immediately reached for the end button. There are times when I see his call coming in and everything in me doesn't want me to answer. There are times when I find it almost hard to return his messages. You go to bed with one side of your heart telling you that you are wrong, but you still don't know how to get it right. It happens.

You see, many of our relationship's greatest mistakes are made in those "dry seasons." That's the season the Devil will just package one Uncle from nowhere to come to your inbox and be doing, "hello", "hi", "baby", "dear", "dearly", "Darli Yankee"πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. And if our innocent single aunty is not careful, she will now go and start relationship with the devil-sent uncle whose mission is to mess up her life. Hmmmm! That's the season some of us who don't have sense will abandon their God-given partner and relationship in quest for something greener. That's the season many believers will go and fall in love with the moment and think they’re falling in love with the person.

SOLUTION.

Guys, there are two things that you need to do when you are facing a "dry season" in your personal life or relationship. One, check your routine. Whenever life becomes so predictable, everything becomes boring. Just imagine taking beans every morning. Some people' life and relationship are just laidat. They call every morning and night, go to ice cream spot every sunday, buy cake every birthday, and then nothing else. The whole thing is now a cycle and nothing catches your interest again. Please break the routine. Instead of calling and calling and calling, send a message in the morning, Order a small lunch pack from THRILLERS and have it delivered to her in the office with a note from you, then put up that Holy Ghost call in the night. Instead of attempting to kill somebody's daughter with ice cream every sundayπŸ˜‚, please go for photo trek or car cruise. Please on some birthdays leave flour aloneπŸ˜‚, leave all those flour cake and meatpie, visit the national art gallery or an amusement part, or chill out in a cool place, or go visit the inmates of a prison, or go to the orphanage. Go to the gym on some saturdays. Go see the new movie. Sometimes, just go up a mountain and see the wonders of this world.

Secondly, Check your Oil (your spiritual life). What does your personal relationship with God look like? When was the last time you and your partner did "Kabare-edeye Sozozo-eheyaaaa?" When last did you pray together, fast together, or contribute together to build up a seed? When last did you put up a call and scatter some prophecies on somebody's head? Ayeeeee! Life will lose it's pace and relationship will have no taste if you don't have oil. Once we disconnect from that "living water", we'll become dry on the inside...
