Actually, I was watching a show on TV and something just came to mind so I thought I should write an article on it.. “What do men think”
A question popped up “why do men avoid marriage talk”? This was obviously asked by a woman. Am a Woman and I kinda understand what it means to a woman when a talk about marriage is being brought up, it makes us feel special, wanted, desired and longed for. It assures us that our partner cares and loves us so much that they want to spend the rest of their lives with us.
We ladies all think that way but sorry to burst your Bubbles, MEN DON'T!!! Wanna know why?
This is because an average Man believes that he should be made (Financially stable) before settling down cos it's the duty of a Man to pay the bride price, take care of his family, provide for them and protect them. A Man is meant to have goals, Visions/ dreams of so many things he's meant to achieve so that his Wife and kids will live a comfortable life as well as being a support to his Parents.
This reminds me of an old friend who said that he must have a Car first before he even owns a house because having a car is very essential.. Hahaha.. He said he can't imagine his wife entering public transport when she's pregnant or with the kids, taking them to school with pub transport and all. I laughed at that cos most men don't even know wah we think or wah we want the same way we don't know wah they think or want Buh at the same time I understood where he's coming from cos he's a Man and that's just how they are made, an average man(that thinks straight though) wants to always make his family live comfortably...
So what am I saying ladies?
Men think differently from the way we do and in order to understand them we have to think like them, that's the only way we can know what it is they really want.
They simply don't like it when the topic of marriage is stressed especially when they are not yet financially stable, you will end up pushing them away. So best advice ladies... BE PATIENT!!
Instead of stressing about it, pray for him, he try to understand his moods and feelings, study him and most importantly work on yourself to be the Woman of his dreams (that is if you're sure he's the right one for you), More so work on being the Woman that Men want and that will increase his Hunger for you, that will make him want you to be the woman by his side all his life. Be independent and when I say be Independent, not only financially, work also on being emotionally independent too... So ladies, let's suck it up and get to work... See you at the 🔝 ✌️
